JM:MS hosts Business After Hours next Monday

The business improvement committee of Jefferson Matters: Main Street will host “Business After Hours” Monday, Nov. 10, from 5 to 7 pm at the Elks Lodge in Jefferson.

The event will begin with a social time followed by a program at 6 pm. Ken Paxton, executive director of Greene County Development Corp, will speak about the latest developments for “Marketing Greene County.” Angie Pedersen of RVP~1875/History Boy Theatre and chair of the Chamber’s tourism committee will discuss “Promoting Tourism in Jefferson and Greene County.”

The social time will continue after the program. The event is open to the public at no charge. There will be complimentary appetizers and a cash bar.

Jefferson Matters: Main Street is a volunteer organization devoted to economic development through historic preservation in downtown Jefferson. To become involved with JMMS, contact Alan Robinson, program director, at 515-386-3585 or director@ jeffersonmatters.org.
